Directed by Emre Kabakuşak and written by Ayşe Özyılmazer and Nehir Erdem, the series quickly became one of Turkey’s most popular dramas. The story follows Sancar (played by Engin Akyürek), a village boy, who falls deeply in love with Nare (played by Neslihan Atagül), the ambassador’s daughter.
